Industry’s First Carbon Footprint Certificate Fuels Carbon Reduction Efforts in Associated Sectors

In March 2024, Bureau Veritas (BV) issued a Product Carbon Footprint Verification Statement to PHOMI HOLDING for its econiclay Coverings (eCoverings) and econiclay BIPV (eBIPV) products.

PHOMI’s econiclay Coverings have seen widespread application from humid coastal areas to dry arid zones, from freezing Nordic regions to scorching Middle Eastern districts. Derived from eCoverings, eBIPV is applicable to residential, commercial, industrial building and their infrastructure facades. Unlike conventional solar panels with dark-colored solar cells encapsulated in glass, PHOMI’s eBIPV offers a variety of natural textures and patterns including stones, wood, bricks, etc. Resembling common building exterior appearances, combined with solar power generation capabilities, breaking away from the visual monotony of black or deep blue looks.
